Responsibilities:

  • Manage sourcing the process and running effective competitions amongst selected suppliers.
  • Manage effective evaluations of proposals.
  • Lead contractual negotiations.
  • Support Project Managers in supplier management and performance.
  • Set direction for development of new or improved policies and procedures.
  • Ensure effective communications with suppliers during opportunities and more in general as part of the pro-active management of the provider network.
  • Manage supplier events and other targeted supplier feedback opportunities as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of strategic sourcing & supplier management processes and principles.
  • A good understanding of the project lifecycle.
  • Able to interpret and communicate customer requirements.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Experience of managing business risks and opportunities.
  • Good communication skills at all levels; both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Experience with data analysis.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
